Purrs 4 Peace Week 12 - Thank you

According to the Law of Attraction, thoughts are made of energy and have a frequency. That frequency attracts like frequency. So what we think about....we create. Now I haven’t yet created a bowl of tuna...which I think about a lot. But I don’t think that’s quite what the Law of Attraction means. When we purrrrrrrrrrrrr in concentration on peace, particularly when we purr simultaneously, we attract peace to ourselves and into our own lives as well as sending peaceful positive energy into the universe.

We can all create a positive effect on the universe everyday with our energy and actions. Inspiring joy and laughter is crucial. No one can hold hate in their heart when they are laughing.

Therefore, special thanks this week go to Socks Hercules Overend-tunnicliffe (pictured right). Socks lives with his mummy Kate and Granny (although she definitely doesn’t look old enough to be called such a name) Katie in Sheffield, U.K. Oops ... almost forgot to mention his turtle siblings. Although, from what Socks says he’d like to forget them too....or eat them.

Socks is definitely a positive force in the universe. Socks keeps all his friends and admirers laughing on Facebook with the reports of his antics. He makes ordinary cat life hilarious such as his posts on waking his gran at all hours and on his demands for high quality cat litter. His favorite quotes on Facebook are priceless: "why feed me cheap food when i can just as easily turn my nose up at expensive food ?" "Come on its time to get up " and "don’t mess with me. Just cos I’m purring doesn’t mean I’m happy to see you !" Then there are his duties as a supermodel and forays into the realms of the superhero. But although Socks is clearly extremely busy he routinely takes time out of his schedule to purr for peace. I feel very fortunate to have Socks brightening my everyday and helping me achieve the right happy frame of mind to effectively purr for peace. Thank you Socks, Kate and Katie (not to mention Turtles Tunnicliffe) for being my friends and supporting the purrs.
