I've heard arguments this morning that this guy should be given a second chance. Why? Because he can make someone some money? What has he done to earn a second chance. Next argument was a question: what do animal lovers expect him to do, be in prison the rest of his life? Live in a cave? No...but then there are many places he could work other than the NFL. McDonalds say? Janitor at the local animal shelter? I'm not saying that he be deprived of ALL livelihood...I'm saying that he should be deprived of making over a million dollars as a role model to children in the NFL.
Okay so the NFL reinstated the guy and he's been signed to a one year contract with the Eagles for a reported $1.6 million. Now we just have to accept it and enjoy the football season right? Wrong. Confucius Cat and his family will be boycotting M. Vick, the Eagles, the NFL and any sponsor morally challenged enough to advertise. Hear that Proctor & Gamble? You just lost a customer.
Current occupants of Confucius Cat's box of kitty litter clumps: Vick, Eagles, NFL, Proctor & Gamble.
