Earthquakes are a natural way for the earth to release internal stress. Millions of quakes shake and roll the earth’s surface each hear along fault lines. As I understand it, there are about 20 plates along the earth’s surface that move and shift past each other. When the plates squeeze or stretch they put force on themselves and on adjacent plates causing ruptures or breaks in the earth’s surface. This release of stress through these breaks spreads outward in waves from the epicenter. These waves are felt as shaking and rolling. Most casualties seem to be caused by the collapse of buildings and other structures.

Thus, it seems that earthquakes are an indication of a lack of PEACE beneath the surface of our earth. And whereas the earth may need to release a buildup of energy, it seems to me that a more peaceful interior earth would lead to a more peaceful world.

Therefore, as we purr today for the well being and peace of those impacted by the earthquake in Chile, that we might also purr for the well being a peace of the interior of our planet.

Purrrrringgggg. See your purrs providing food to the hungry, shelter to the homeless, care to the injured.

Purrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Purring.... See your purrs fortifying the rescuers, bringing abundance to those who help the victims, animal and human.

Purrrrrrrrrrr. Imagine all animals rescued, provided with food, water, shelter and protection.

Purrrrrrrrr. Imagine all injured are healed, all lost are reunited, all homeless sheltered in loving homes.

Purrrr for the health of our earth and PEACE for the interior of our planet so that the magnitude of earthquakes may be reduced.
