CALLING ALL SHELDONS

On May 16th I posted "I Coulda been Sheldon" which was about my having been found/rescued at Old Sheldon Church cemetery in South Carolina and how I coulda been named Sheldon as a result. I'm afraid I kinda poked fun of the name Sheldon...although I will point out that my mummy loves that name and that's what she wanted to call me.

Anyway, in July a cat with the name Sheldon, who was also found in the same location, posted a comment. I hate that I might have hurt his feelings with my post due to the unintended insult to the name Sheldon, but I loved knowing that me and my sister Pieface aren't the only kitties to come from that location. There's a feeling of kinship with Sheldon...which I emphasize is a fine name. Unfortunately, Sheldon did not include any contact information. By the way did I say that Sheldon is the name only the handsomest of cats merit?

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CALLING ALL SHELDONS... Confucius Cat would love to hear from any cats named Sheldon ----which is the most distinguished of names by the way---or not named Sheldon who were found/rescued from Old Sheldon Church in South Carolina.

The name Sheldon connotes intelligence and wit and therefore I'm certain he will see this.
Please Sheldon....come out and play.

I like the name Sheldon. I'm sure no one was offended, but it's nice of you to say something.

I was rescued in July 2005. So your Mom probably saw me running around Shawnee. Cool.

Get out! You were rescued in July 2005? Gosh, my mom probably did see you. If she remembers correctly, she thinks she saw the kittens in a hole in the ground by a pillar at the entrance of the church grounds. She felt so bad she could not help them. There were many kittens :(.

Oh, one more thing. Mom emailded her fwend in St. Louis, MO who was at the Sheldon Church wif her and asked her if'n she remembered the kittehs. (Mom never told her you is a black kitteh.) This is what she writed back: "And I remember how sad we were to have to leave those little black kittens there! But, as I remember, didn't we think that someone was feeding them? I thought we saw a dish or something that made us think that."
